Servants of the Paraclete
The Servants of the Paraclete are an international order of priests and brothers with the accounting office stationed in the US. This position oversees the day-to-day financial planning, implementing, and managing of all financially related activities of the Servants of the Paraclete as well as their US based ministry, Vianney Renewal Center, in Dittmer, MO, twenty-five minutes southwest of St. Louis County. 30-40hrs a week with possible remote work. Essential Duties
*Provide strategic leadership for the development of annual budgets. This includes oversight on the implementation of budgets to monitor progress.
* Full-cycle accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entry posting, financial statement preparation), financial and ad-hoc analysis, budgeting and pro forma development, treasury and cash flow management, and comprehensive financial reporting.
*Oversee the creation and approval of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting materials for the General Council, and appropriate internal stakeholders. Proactively report any variances from budget goals.
*Maintain all banking and investment relationships; coordinate international transfers and subsidies.
*Coordinate all audit activities including managing relationship with external auditing firm, drafting and presenting financial statements and notes, and implementing recommendations.
*Adhere to accounting regulations in accordance with GAAP and corporate guidelines.
*Other duties as assigned
Essential Skills
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
· Experience in Quickbooks
· Experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
· Experience in non-profit accounting a plus
· Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as essential team member
