Your Role:
As the Special Events and Recruitment Coordinator you will be at the forefront of our fundraising and recruitment initiatives. Your role will be key to not only driving enrollment of new program participants but also in securing funding to support our organizational growth.
Lead & Support
- Assist in preparation of an annual development and marketing plan.
- Collaborate with the Development and Programs Team to achieve goals including, but not limited to, participant, volunteer, and donor engagement and retention activities.
- Support the Development Manager in Mid-Level and Major donor cultivation and stewardship.
Special Events
- Plans and executes annual special events (24 Hour Campaign, Trivia Night)
- Plans and executes year-end appeal campaign.
- Stewardship of assigned donors.
Recruitment
- Support the end-to-end development and management of the enrollment funnel.
- Represent and actively promote the awareness of our services and help increase program enrollment through community outreach activities (schools, churches, community organizations, disability providers etc.).
- Generate and nurture leads, bringing prospective individuals one step closer to being a Pathways participant, volunteer, or donor.
Administrative Support
- Responsible for database processes including data entry, list management, gift acknowledgment and donor contributions and other related functions.
- Work regularly with the Fundraising Database at all levels to support prospect research and management; create reports; assist in contact management process in relation to major gifts; database clean-up and maintenance.
- Maintain a recruitment database.
- Proof and edit development and marketing materials to assure completeness and accuracy.
- Provide general administrative support, including work on mailings.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Looking for an energetic, creative individual with good communication and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school diploma with 5 years of experience.

- Must be independently mobile throughout the work environment.
- Sitting, hearing, talking, reaching, walking, stooping/bending, and lifting light objects.
- Must have independent transportation to and from meetings and appointments as needed.
