Position Description:
This full-time, exempt position reports to and provides support to the Executive Director (ED). Works closely with the ED, Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers, to create, implement, sustain, and evaluate an effective marketing and fund development program to advance the mission of East Side Heart & Home Family Center. Maintains the Agency’s website, e-news communication, Facebook, and other social media tools as necessary. Responsible for all operations of the Housing Program.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead the Housing Program including working with renters, homeowners, volunteers, and the Neighborhood Association.
- Meet with renters and homeowners
- Facilitate the growth of the Neighborhood Association
- Recruit volunteers as needed for home-builds and home renovation
- In coordination with the ED and staff, provide support for the Agency’s programs and services.
- Marketing and public relations to include news releases, Agency newsletter, creation of print materials, website and Facebook management, and the creation of materials to support all aspects of fund development
- Responsible for the key elements of the Agency’s fund development program including donor acquisition and fundraising, an annual giving program, special events, major gifts from individuals, and strengthen existing corporate and foundation giving
- Responsible for donor stewardship, information systems (gift entry, database management, report generation. etc.), and prospect research.
- Strengthen current community partnerships and develop new partnerships by representing the Agency at outside events and meetings.
- Work with the ED and Agency staff to create an annual budget and strategic plan.
- Assist and support the Director with administrative tasks
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- A belief in the mission and vision of East Side Heart & Home Family Center
- Bachelor’s Degree or three to five years of experience in resource development including marketing, special events, grant writing, and/or sales experience; Nonprofit experience preferred
- Willingness and ability to work with diverse populations
- Willingness and ability to make last minute changes to accommodate job responsibilities
- A proven track record in marketing and development
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Illustrator, or related software
- A sense of humor
- Excellent oral and written communications skills

Salary & Benefits:
$50,000 salary. Benefits include health insurance and a generous paid time off policy.
