Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation
The Today & Tomorrow Educational Foundation is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead the foundation and raise resources that provide need-based scholarships to families in the St. Louis area who face financial barriers to a parochial or private school education for their children. This role champions a vision to give children a pathway to a hopeful future through educational choice and opportunity.
Mission: The Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation (TTEF), following the example of Jesus Christ in His service to those in need, assists faith-based and private elementary schools in providing quality, affordable and accessible educational opportunities for any economically disadvantaged family within the St. Louis region by generating financial assistance in the form of need-based tuition assistance scholarships from local and national funding sources.
Mission Leadership
• TTEF is the largest elementary school scholarship organization in Missouri.
• Since its founding in 1991, TTEF has raised more than $200 million from local and national funders.
• TTEF is assisting more than 5,600 families annually and aims to expand the number of children receiving tuition assistance.
• TTEF raises money for 3 major scholarship programs.
• TTEF has excellent outcomes: 100% eighth grade graduation rate;100% high school graduation rate among TTEF alumni; 94% of TTEF alumni enroll in post-secondary education.
• TTEF has a staff team of 9 and $14 million annual budget.
TTEF is looking for
• Fundraising Expertise with proven success in planning and securing individual, corporate and foundation gifts. Experience with special events is a plus.
• Exceptional Communication Skills as a public speaker and written communicator.
• Strategic Thinker with an ability to develop a direction and plan.
• Program Evaluation with the ability to assess programs and initiatives for mission alignment.
• Visionary Leadership with an eye for growth and the ability to inspire and lead.
• Alignment with an affinity for working and collaborating with the Archdiocese of St. Louis and the Office of Catholic Education.
• Financial Acumen in budget planning and management in partnership with the finance team.
• Leadership Experience with demonstrated success leading teams and positively engaging Board members and staff.
TTEF offers a competitive salary and benefits package including
· Salary range of $165,000 to $175,000 plus potential for a bonus
