Missouri Adult Day Care Center
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Overall daily management of the Center’s operations, to include transportation, meals, census, staffing, and approving staff timecards.
• Ensure the Center is operating effectively, monitor grounds (grass/snow), maintain a clean center, and report maintenance needs to the Facilities Director.
• Create and manage age-appropriate activity programs and outings while meeting all guidelines and regulations, to include the engagement of all participants.
• Manage required forms for new and/or existing participants.
• Make sure admissions and screenings are performed by the on-staff nurse to ensure we are able to meet the needs of the participant and family.
• Manage electronic data for attendance, meals, and transportation to be completed in a timely manner for billing purposes.
• Oversee kitchen staff to ensure meals are served properly and on time.
• Manage inventory of supplies for kitchen, office, activities, and all other Center needs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the capability to inspire and guide teams towards achieving organizational goals.
• Implement in-services and continuing education courses to meet on-going training for all staff, in addition to hands-on staff training.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management position.
• Highly organized and proficient
• Interest and respect for the elderly and those with special needs
• Ability to recognize and have concern for the participants’ needs, and the willingness to perform suitable services.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) required.
• Ability to resolve any family/vendor issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail; ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and exercise good time management skills
