Elizabeth’s role at The Rome Group includes strategic and program planning, grant writing and planning support, facilitation, research, and writing.
Before joining The Rome Group, Elizabeth spent nearly twenty-five years in the nonprofit sector, most recently as the Director of Education and Interpretation for the Missouri Historical Society, where she founded the nationally recognized Teens Make History Program and the award-winning ACTivists museum theatre project. She has served in various board and committee positions, including leading the board of the International Museum Theatre Alliance.
Elizabeth holds an MA in History with a certification in Museum Studies from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She is also a fellow of the Shannon Leadership Institute of the Amherst Wilder Foundation in St. Paul, MN.
She is an avid swimmer and lives in University City with one cat, one dog, two daughters, one husband, and too many gardens.
