The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis
The Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis seeks candidates for Senior Director of Programs, a new leadership level position reporting to the Executive Director and Board of Directors. Responsibilities of the position include building and leading a team of seven staff members working in the program areas of outreach, advising, awarding of scholarship grants and interest-free loans, and repayment. Successful candidates will understand the organization’s mission and programs from their own lived experiences.
Necessary skills include strategic thinking and planning, policy development, commitment to racial and economic equity, and competencies in data collection, analysis, and reporting. The Senior Director of Programs will demonstrate an understanding of post-secondary student services and will be excited by and committed to the development of young people toward their goals and dreams. The position will interface with adjacent departments of advocacy, information technology, development, and finance. Effective project management and people management are required. Minimum qualifications include a master’s degree in a related discipline and ten years of increasing responsibility in education, student services, and university or nonprofit leadership.
