Missouri Foundation for Health
Build Missouri Health, a subsidiary of Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH), seeks its inaugural Executive Director who will work directly with the President and CEO of MFH and the Board of Directors of Build Missouri Health to launch a vibrant organization focused on addressing health inequities in partnership with local, state, and national organizations.
The ideal candidate to launch Build Missouri Health will have proven success in building strong relationships, developing resources, and leading with vision. With support from MFH’s Board and staff, Build Missouri Health is poised to advance work in key strategic areas of healthy and supportive housing, public health workforce development and environmental justice. These advancements will be made through opportunities to provide administrative backbone services to large scale projects, convening likeminded partners and engaging the full community.
The Executive Director of Build Missouri Health will report directly to the President and CEO of Missouri Foundation for Health and have support of staff. Key activities will be:
- Facilitating meetings with the Board of Directors and others to create the mission, vision, and strategies of Build Missouri Health
- Developing and securing resources to support the activities of Build Missouri Health
- Identifying opportunities for Build Missouri Health to support the field working in key strategic areas
- Expanding the scope and depth of Build Missouri Health’s work, activities, and relationships
- The initial salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000 based upon related experience. Build Missouri Health offers a first class benefits package, flexible work arrangements, current technology and support for employee development opportunities.
Minimum levels of education and experience.
Education: Master’s Degree in related discipline or Bachelor’s Degree plus equivalent relevant work/community service experience
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience with at least 5 at the managerial/executive level. Demonstrated ability to create and execute complex strategies, manage limited resources, and build positive, beneficial relationships
Demonstrated experience in public health collaborative relationship leadership, resource development and equity/social justice organizations desired
Some travel required both in-state and to national meetings, events, and conferences
