Circus Harmony

Circus Harmony is St. Louis’ only social circus school, teaching students ages 3 – 93 how to defy gravity and soar with confidence in the circus ring and in life. Circus Harmony students and alumni can be found flipping and flying to new heights in their home ring at City Museum, under the big top tent, at schools and at community centers throughout St. Louis. As the organization continues to grow and prepare to celebrate 25 years of circus education, an experienced business administrator is sought to help streamline accounting and office operations.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Organize and accurately maintain financial records in QuickBooks Online including data entry and management of accounts payable and receivable.

· Reconcile all accounts on a monthly basis and perform regular reviews of actual income/expenses to budget.

· Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports for Board review.

· Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.

· Assist the Director of Development in pulling data for grant and funder reports.

· Assist the General Manager with payroll and 1099 filings.

· Assist with updating student enrollment records and pulling enrollment and scholarship reports in Sawyer database.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· 2 or more years nonprofit accounting, bookkeeping, and/or database experience.

· Formal educational training or certification in accounting and/or business administration.

· Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

· High level of organization with attention to detail and ability to analyze data trends.

· Outstanding and consistent communication skills.

Compensation and Work Schedule:
$25 an hour. Up to 15 hours a week, hybrid flexible schedule.
