“As consultants, our job is to teach people how to fish. When our work is done and our clients continue to use the tools that we have given them to grow and succeed, our mission is accomplished.”
Robin enjoys working with clients to develop the skills, strategies and systems they need to build and sustain their fundraising efforts and programs. An excellent writer, she is often called up to help organizations tell their stories and make their case for support in a concise and compelling way.
Before joining The Rome Group, Robin served as the Assistant Director of Development at the Saint Louis Zoo where she helped establish the major gifts program and complete a $70 million capital campaign. Prior to that she managed corporate and foundation giving at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in Government from Smith College where she participated in the Junior Year Abroad Program in Paris and studied at L’Institute d’Etudes Politiques. She earned her CFRE in 2000.
